Riemchentorte is an apple pie, a speciality of the Lower Rhine region.
It is made of leavened dough with housemade apple puree. Straps “Riemchen” of dough are laid in a pattern on the puree. Thats where the name comes from.
We also offer a cut slatted cake as a model, which forms a wonderful unit together with the model of the cake slice.
