Riemchentorte is an apple pie, a speciality of the Lower Rhine region.
It is made of leavened dough with housemade apple puree. Straps “Riemchen” of dough are laid in a pattern on the puree. Thats where the name comes from.
We offer as well a piece of apple pie as model which works perfect in addition to the pie.
