We offer two models. Model A is breathing and has a open spiracle, model B has a closed spiracle.
The models are made of high quality epoxy resin and coloured using non-fade paint and varnish. Modellmaker: Susanne Henssen

Habitat

Standing waters with rich vegetation, in river plains also in temporary waters.

Sources

Northern Hemisphere, in Europe not in the southern parts of the Mediterranean peninsulas.

The snail can move under the watersurface, which she often does for breathing (see model A)
