Europe from Ireland, S Portugal and central Spain to SW Hungary and Bosnia, in Italy to Lucania, in the north to S Sweden, in the E to NW Poland, Latvia, Kaliningrad, Estonia (Hiiumaa island). Introduced overseas.
Unique in the European fauna Cepaea nemoralis and Cepaea hortensis show a polymorphism of the shell. Colour and banding of the shell differs extremly within one population. Due to that, we offer to assemble a shell which you found in your region. Please send us a shell about 19 mm diameter.
The model is made of high quality epoxy resin and coloured using non-fade paint and varnish. We use original shells. Because the shell can varies regionally in colour and banding we offer to assemble the model with your collected shell.
