Habitat

Humid meadows and river plain woods, in the north also in cultivated areas, in central Europe only in natural habitats.



Sources

Scattered in isolated places covering a wide range from Europe to N Italy, Crimea, central Asia and W Siberia, probably also Sakhalin. Distribution not well-known due to frequent misidentifications (Wiktor 1996: 86).
