Habitat

Synanthropic slug, most often collected near fruit and vegetable stores, compost, wells, gardens, parks etc.



Sources

Original range unknown, presumably S-Europe. At historical times introduced by the Romans to North Europe. At present nearly everywhere in Europe, sometimes endangered. Introduced to Canary Islands, Chile and South Africa.




Description of the model:

The model is made of high quality epoxy resin and coloured using a non-fade paint and varnish. Modelled by Susanne Henssen.
