Further information

Unique in the European fauna Cepaea hortensis and Cepaea nemoralis show a polymorphism of the shell. Colour and banding of the shell differs extremly within one population. Due to that, we offer to assemble a shell which you found in your region.




Description of the model:

Modelmaker: Susanne Henssen. The model is made of high quality epoxy resin and coloured using non-fade paint and varnish. We use original shells. Because the shell can varies regionally in colour and banding we offer to assemble the model with your collected shell. Please send us a shell about 15 mm diameter.
