Further information

"Plov" is a Caucasian speciality - made of chicken roasted with dried fruits, served with rice which is yellow-coloured by saffron stock.

The model was on display in 2014 on the special exhibition about plants of Caucasus ("Kaukasus. Pflanzenvielfalt zwischen Schwarzem und Kaspischem Meer") in the Botanical Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin. It shows the usage of regional products like dates, apricots and saffron.




Description of the model:

The model is made of high quality epoxy resin and coloured using non-fade paint and varnish. The dish is served in a wodden bowl
