The model was on display in the exhibition DEEPSEA of the Natural History Museum Senckenberg, Frankfurt (Germany) till 30th June 2009.




Description of the model:

The model was produced for the special exhibition "Deep sea". This exhibition is the result of the co-operation between the Natural History Museum Basel and the Natural History Museum Senckenberg, Frankfurt (Germany). The scientific model was done under supervision of Dr. Walter Etter (Natural History Museum Basel, Basel (CH).

The model is made of reinforced epoxy resin and coloured using non-fade colours.
